As an Android Developer – Fresher, you will be a key member of our team. You will create responsive, high-performance user interfaces and work closely with backend teams to deliver seamless product experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android applications under the guidance of senior developers.
• Build responsive and user-friendly mobile application interfaces.
• Work with Kotlin or Java for Android application development.
• Implement Android UI components, layouts, activities, and fragments.
• Integrate REST APIs and handle JSON data.
• Work with local data storage and databases.
• Debug applications and resolve basic technical issues.
• Perform testing and improve application stability and performance.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA engineers.
• Follow coding standards and Android development best practices.
• Learn new Android technologies and frameworks as required.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of Android Development.
• Good understanding of Kotlin or Java.
• Familiarity with Android Studio.
• Understanding of Android:
  • Activities & Fragments
  • Intents
  • Layouts & UI Components
  • RecyclerView
  • Navigation
  • Lifecycle
• Basic knowledge of REST APIs and JSON.
• Understanding of XML-based Android UI development.
• Basic knowledge of Git/GitHub.
• Good logical and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

• Basic knowledge of Jetpack Components.
• Familiarity with MVVM architecture.
• Knowledge of Room Database or SQLite.
• Basic understanding of Firebase.
• Experience with Retrofit or similar API libraries.
• Knowledge of Material Design.
• Understanding of push notifications is an advantage.
• Experience developing and publishing an academic/personal Android application is a plus.

Educational Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech, BCA, MCA, or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Freshers with Android development projects are encouraged to apply.
