As a  Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be a key member of our team. You will own deployment pipelines, server health, and release reliability. This role suits engineers who enjoy automation, monitoring, and keeping production systems stable.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain reliable CI/CD pipelines for application development and deployment.
• Automate build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Deploy, configure, and manage applications across development, staging, and production environments.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Monitor application, server, and infrastructure performance.
• Configure logging, monitoring, alerting, and incident-management processes.
• Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, networking, and production issues.
• Implement security best practices across infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
• Manage Linux-based servers and perform system administration tasks.
• Work with development teams to improve application deployment and operational reliability.
• Maintain infrastructure and deployment documentation.
• Participate in production deployments, incident resolution, and root-cause analysis.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve automation, scalability, reliability, and deployment speed.
• Mentor junior DevOps team members and provide technical guidance.

Required Technical Skills

• 3–5 years of professional experience in DevOps/Cloud Engineering.
• Strong experience with Linux/Unix administration.
• Strong knowledge of Git and Git-based workflows.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as:
  • Jenkins
  • GitHub Actions
  • GitLab CI/CD
  • Azure DevOps
• Strong experience with Docker and containerization.
• Good hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform:
  • AWS
  • Azure
  • Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Good knowledge of networking concepts including DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, ports, load balancing, and firewalls.
• Scripting experience using Bash/Shell or Python.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Cloud & Infrastructure

Experience with cloud services such as:

AWS

• EC2
• S3
• IAM
• VPC
• RDS
• CloudWatch
• Load Balancer

Azure

• Virtual Machines
• Azure DevOps
• Azure Storage
• Azure Networking
• Azure Monitor

Knowledge of equivalent services in other cloud platforms is also valuable.

Monitoring & Logging

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as:
  • Prometheus
  • Grafana
  • ELK/Elastic Stack
  • CloudWatch/Azure Monitor
• Configure alerts and dashboards for infrastructure and application monitoring.
• Analyze logs and troubleshoot production issues.

Security & Best Practices

• Implement secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage secrets, credentials, keys, and environment configurations securely.
• Follow cloud security and access-control best practices.
• Apply appropriate IAM/RBAC policies.
• Understand backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability concepts.

Good to Have

• Experience with Helm and Kubernetes deployments.
• Knowledge of Argo CD or GitOps practices.
• Experience with Terraform modules and remote state management.
• Knowledge of Nginx/Apache.
• Experience with Redis, PostgreSQL, or MySQL deployment and management.
• Knowledge of AWS/Azure certification is an advantage.
• Experience with microservices and distributed applications.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
