As a  Senior Android Developer, you will be a key member of our team. You will create responsive, high-performance user interfaces and work closely with backend teams to deliver seamless product experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications.
• Build scalable and reusable Android application components.
• Develop applications using Kotlin and/or Java.
• Work with Android SDK, Android Studio, Jetpack, and modern Android development practices.
• Implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces based on UI/UX designs.
• Work with Activities, Fragments, RecyclerView, Navigation, Services, Broadcast Receivers, and Notifications.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party APIs.
• Implement authentication, authorization, data validation, and secure data handling.
• Work with local databases such as Room/SQLite.
• Implement application architecture using MVVM/MVI or similar patterns.
• Use Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, LiveData, ViewModel, and other modern Android components.
• Implement dependency injection using Hilt/Dagger.
• Integrate Firebase services and third-party SDKs where required.
• Optimize applications for performance, stability, battery usage, and memory management.

Required Technical Skills

• 3–5 years of professional experience in Android development.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and Java.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK and Android Studio.
• Hands-on experience with:

• Strong experience in designing Android UI using XML.

• Strong knowledge of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of unit testing and UI testing.
• Experience with JUnit, Mockito, Espresso, or similar testing frameworks is an advantage.

• Identify and resolve memory leaks and ANR issues.
• Improve application stability and crash-free performance.
• Follow secure coding practices.
• Secure API communication and sensitive application data.
• Understand Android permissions and application security best practices.

Deployment

• Experience preparing applications for Google Play Store release.
• Knowledge of APK/AAB generation and signing.
• Experience managing build variants and release configurations.
• Understanding of Play Store policies and release processes is an advantage.
