Senior Python Engineer (Dubai)

Pirotan Technolabs Private Limited, a premier AI development and custom web & mobile application agency, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Python Engineer to join our expanding team in Dubai. With over 500 projects completed and 322 clients across 12 countries, Pirotan is at the forefront of the digital revolution, specializing in innovative and scalable solutions for enterprises and startups. This role is crucial for driving the development of robust, high-performance, and scalable Python-based applications, particularly in AI, web, and backend services, contributing significantly to our mission of delivering superior quality and transformative digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of complex Python applications and services.
• Architect and implement scalable backend systems, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features for web and mobile platforms.
• Integrate machine learning models, LLM AI agents, and third-party APIs into existing and new systems.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications, including speed and performance optimization.
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
• Contribute to system architecture discussions, technical design, and strategic technology choices.
• Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancement for developed applications, ensuring 100% bug-free delivery.

Required Qualifications/Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Python Developer, with a strong portfolio of shipped projects.
• Expert proficiency in Python and its core libraries, along with experience in web frameworks like Django or Flask.
• Solid experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Proficiency with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and experience with cloud-native development.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team in an Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a relevant technical field.
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or spaCy.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus.
