As a Senior - Python Developer, you will be a key member of our development team. You will work on real-world applications, develop scalable backend solutions, build REST APIs, integrate databases, and contribute to improving application performance and reliability. This is a hands-on role suited for professionals who enjoy writing clean code, solving technical challenges, and building efficient software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Python.
• Write clean, scalable, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Develop backend applications using Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Use Django ORM or SQLAlchemy for database operations.
• Develop database queries and optimize application performance.
• Work with Pandas and NumPy for data processing and analysis when required.
• Debug applications, identify issues, and implement effective solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
• Use Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, designers, and product teams to deliver features on time.
• Follow coding standards, development best practices, and application security practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Strong knowledge of Python programming.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Experience developing REST APIs.
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL.
• Basic to good knowledge of MongoDB.
• Experience with Django ORM and/or SQLAlchemy.
• Familiarity with Pandas and NumPy.
• Good understanding of Git/GitHub.
• Basic knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Understanding of JSON and API integration.
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing and maintaining production Python applications.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
• Experience with unit testing using PyTest or unittest is preferred.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization for REST APIs is an advantage.
• Contributions to personal or open-source Python projects are a plus.
