As a Node.js Developer, you will be a key member of our team. You will create responsive, high-performance user interfaces and work closely with backend teams to deliver seamless product experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.
• Build secure, reliable, and high-performance RESTful APIs.
• Develop server-side applications using Node.js and Express.js.
• Design and optimize database structures, queries, and transactions.
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access control.
• Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and production issues.
• Write clean, reusable, modular, and maintainable code.
• Conduct code reviews and follow coding and security best practices.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and project managers.
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to application architecture decisions.
• Use Git-based workflows for version control and collaborative development.
• Monitor and improve application performance and reliability.

Required Technical Skills

• 3–5 years of professional experience in Node.js development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+).
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and Express.js.
• Excellent understanding of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, JSON, and API architecture.
• Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming, Promises, callbacks, and async/await.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Good understanding of database design, indexing, joins, and query optimization.
• Experience with JWT, OAuth, authentication, and authorization.
• Strong understanding of error handling, logging, and debugging.
• Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab.
• Understanding of web application security and best practices.

Good to Have

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Knowledge of MERN Stack.
• Experience with Redis and caching mechanisms.
• Knowledge of WebSockets / Socket.IO.
• Experience with Docker and containerization.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience with AWS / Azure or other cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of message queues such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.

Educational Qualification

• BE / B.Tech / BCA / MCA / MSc (Computer Science) or equivalent qualification.
• Relevant professional experience and strong project knowledge will be preferred.
