Shine Infosoft, an ISO-certified software development company with a proven track record of over 590 successful projects, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to join our growing team of over 125 skilled professionals. As a QA Analyst at Shine Infosoft, you will play a critical role in upholding our commitment to delivering exceptional software quality and customer satisfaction. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our innovative, scalable, and high-performing digital solutions—ranging from AI-powered software to web, mobile, and cloud applications—meet the highest standards of reliability and functionality for our diverse global clientele.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through to resolution using defect tracking systems.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders within an agile development methodology to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
- Participate actively in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure that all software solutions align with Shine Infosoft's high-quality standards and client expectations across various industries like healthcare, fintech, and e-commerce.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
Required Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 2+ years of professional experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst in a software development environment.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with manual testing across web and mobile applications.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
- Proficiency in SQL for database testing and API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
- Knowledge of performance and security testing principles.
- ISTQB certification or similar.
- Experience with JIRA or other project management and defect tracking tools.
