As a PHP Developer, you will be a part of our technology team and get the opportunity to work on real-world web application and software development projects. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications using PHP and modern PHP frameworks. You will work closely with frontend developers, backend developers, QA engineers, and other team members to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code using Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Develop backend applications using frameworks such as Laravel and CodeIgniter.
• Build and maintain database-driven applications using MySQL and SQL.
• Design and optimize database queries based on project requirements.
• Develop responsive web pages using HTML5 and CSS3.
• Use JavaScript and jQuery to implement interactive web functionality.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs for web and application integrations.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services and APIs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application bugs and technical issues.
• Perform application testing, debugging, and basic performance optimization.
• Maintain existing applications and implement new features based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, QA engineers, and other team members.
• Follow PHP development best practices and coding standards.
• Stay updated with the latest PHP, Laravel, CodeIgniter, and web development technologies.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Good knowledge of PHP.
• Strong understanding of OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) concepts.
• Good knowledge of Laravel.
• Familiarity with CodeIgniter.
• Strong understanding of MySQL and SQL.
• Good knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Basic to good knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery.
• Understanding of REST API development and integration.
• Good debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Academic, internship, or professional experience in PHP development.
• Experience developing web applications using Laravel or CodeIgniter.
• Experience working with PHP and MySQL-based applications.
• Good understanding of OOP concepts and backend development.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Familiarity with JavaScript and jQuery for frontend integration.
• Knowledge of Git/GitHub is a plus.
• Experience working on real-world web application projects is an added advantage.
